People love music. Especially in the summer! Summer often means driving around with the windows down and the music cranked up. Many of us create playlists for our summer outings because songs speak to us. They say things we wish we could say. Songs describe our lives in ways that encourage us, or express deep emotions that define the joys and struggles of our lives. A person’s playlist says a lot about who they are. A Biblical playlist is the book of Psalms. It is a collection of songs filled with moments of awe, anger, doubt, sadness, hope, and joy. All of these are responses to events in life in light of the Glory of God. As we shuffle through this playlist from Psalms, you will find out a great deal about God’s character and yourself.
