JULY SERMON SERIES: THE LIFE OF DAVID.
He began his life as a shepherd, but became a warrior and a king who God describes as “a man after God’s own heart.” But David was also a king whose personal sins devastated his family and his nation. The greatest lesson about David is he points forward to a greater King who is to come.
ABIDE & BLOOM WOMEN’S RETREAT - AUGUST 16TH
All women are invited to attend a retreat with author Shawna Tinch at Summit Theological Seminary on Saturday, August 16th, beginning at 9 AM. The cost is $10 per person. Lunch will be provided. Please register by August 8th to attend. See Lisa or Trisha Carter for more information or to register.

This group meets in the Fellowship Hall and is led by Bud Price. Children ages 8 and up may participate.

BLAST OFF: A 4-Week Series on Spiritual Habits
SERIES OVERVIEW:
If you're a grown-up and you've been following Jesus for a while, you've probably figured out a few ways to grow spiritually. The kids you're leading, however, aren't grown-ups, so they might need a little help from you to figure out how to grow spiritually. So what should spiritual growth look like for a kid? We like to think about it in terms of four spiritual habits. To help kids grow spiritually and launch their faith journey, teach them to spend time with God, spend time with others, use their gifts, and share their story.
