Preparing Our Hearts for Refuel 2025

October 3 - 23, 2025

In the 21 days leading up to our Refuel weekend, we’re setting aside intentional time to seek God together. This calendar is designed to unite our church family in prayer, fasting, and spiritual preparation. 

Each day gives us a specific focus (from our speakers and worship leaders to our kids’ program and meals) so that every part of Refuel is covered in prayer. 

We believe that when God’s people pray, He prepares hearts, renews faith, and fills His church with power. Let’s lean in, lift up one another, and get ready for what God wants to do among us. 

WEEK 1 – PERSONAL RENEWAL (October 3–9)

Friday, October 3: Pray for Softened Hearts - Ezekiel 36:26 


Pray that God would give each of us a new heart, open to His Spirit. 


Saturday, October 4: Prayer of Confession & Repentance – 1 John 1:9 


Ask God to cleanse us from sin and prepare us for renewal.


Sunday, October 5: Hungry for God’s Word – Psalm 119:105 


Pray for a deeper desire to know and live God’s Word.


Monday, October 6: Personal Surrender – Romans 12:1 


Ask God to help us offer our lives as living sacrifices.


Tuesday, October 7: Peace & Rest in Christ – Matthew 11:28 


Pray for tired hearts to find rest in Jesus.


Wednesday, October 8: Joy of Salvation - Psalm 51:12 


Pray for God to restore the joy of our salvation.


Thursday, October 9: Stronger Families – Joshua 24:15 


Pray for homes to be strengthened in faith and unity.

WEEK 2 - CHURCH RENEWAL (October 10-16) 

Friday, October 10: Unity in the Body – John 17:21 


Pray for our church to reflect the unity of Christ.


Saturday, October 11: Love & Hospitality – Romans 12:10 


Pray for our church to love and serve one another well, especially through our fellowship meals.


Sunday, October 12: Leaders & Teachers – Hebrews 13:17 


Pray for our elders, ministers, and teachers as they guide us.


Monday, October 13: Next Generation - Psalm 78:4 


Pray for our kids’ ministry that every child hears and experiences Jesus’ love.


Tuesday, October 14: Spiritual Gifts – 1 Corinthians 12:7 


Ask God to stir up and empower every member’s gifts for service.


Wednesday, October 15: Boldness in Faith – Acts 4:29 


Pray for courage to live out and share the gospel.


Thursday, October 16: Inspiring Worship – John 4:24 


Pray for Kirk and Amanda Hacker as they lead us in worship. 

WEEK 3 – Impact & Outreach (October 17–23)

Friday, October 17: Pray for Guests – Luke 14:23

Ask God to draw people who need renewal and hope to attend Refuel.


Saturday, October 18: Pray for Salvation – Romans 10:13 


Pray that many will hear the good news and call on the name of the Lord to be saved.


Sunday, October 19: Pray for Gospel Conversations – Colossians 4:5-6 


Ask God to open doors for us to invite friends, family, and neighbors.


Monday, October 20: Pray for Speakers – Ephesians 6:19 


Pray for Jim Book, Ryan Cox, and Erick Clemens to preach with boldness, clarity, and power.


Tuesday, October 21: Pray for Volunteers – 1 Peter 4:10 


Ask God to bless everyone serving behind the scenes (greeters, cooks, techs, kids ministry, security). 


Wednesday, October 22: Pray for God to be Honored – Matthew 5:16 


Pray that everything we do during Refuel would bring honor to God.


Thursday, October 23: Pray for Overflow – Ephesians 3:20-21 
Pray that God will do abundantly more than we can ask or imagine, and that the excitement of Refuel continues long after the weekend.
