Our mission is to help you follow Jesus

That is how we make a difference and it is the driving force behind everything we do.

YOUR LIFE

No matter where you've been or what you've done, we believe you have a purpose. We want to help you become the person God has created you to be.

We want to help you follow Jesus.
Your journey has a next step and we will do our best to help you find it.

You do not have to take the next step alone. You are invited to join us as we take our journey of following Jesus.

YOUR FAMILY

Strong families start with a solid foundation. That is why we partner with parents to help raise the next generation to become followers of Jesus Christ.

Your children will have opportunities on Sunday and throughout the week to grow in their relationships with each other and with God.

OUR LEADERSHIP

The Church of Christ at Grissom is a non-denominational congregation, made up of sincere followers of Jesus Christ.  Being an independent congregation, we have no outside governing body. Our congregation is led in the New Testament way, under congregationally chosen Elders and an Evangelist.

WADE ALLEN - EVANGELIST

Wade Allen began serving as the Evangelist for the Church of Christ at Grissom in January of 2021. In his role as the Evangelist, Wade is the primary preacher for the Sunday morning worship service.

Wade received his Bachelor or Arts degree in Practical Ministries from Bluefield College of Evangelism in 2001. He then earned his Masters of Arts in Practical Ministries from Cincinnati Christian University in 2004.

Wade has served previous ministries in West Virginia, Ohio and Indiana.

Wade is married to his wife, Amanda. They have one daughter named Lilly.

Wade is the author of two books:  "How Do You Know that You Know? A study of 1 John." and "The New Normal. Leadership Lessons from Acts Chapters 1-6." You can view his books at Wade's Amazon author page by clicking the button below.

OUR ELDERS

The Elders oversee the church by leading, shepherding and caring for the spiritual condition of the congregation as set forth in the Bible. According to scriptural example, the elders' responsibilities include, but are not limited to, living a life of personal holiness, shepherding the flock, leading by example, teaching, refuting those who contradict truth, directing the church and praying for the sick.
